21st century poultry breeding

This is a really good book, it tells you all about how each different breeds were created and how the colours are created. I bought a copy when I bought my inccy and have since had my eyes glued to it, you can pick it up for around £10 - £15 on eBay and amazon

Tweedy - it's always worth ordering it through your local library first for a chance to have a really good look through. Ours charges about £1 to get a non fiction book from outside the area.
Guinea fowl & a lot of surplus poultry equipment.

Well it covers most breeds an tells you how the colours are created by either blocking a certain colours pigmentation or by encouraging a new one. It's a really interesting book, really worth getting if your into the whole gene senario.
